A woman was killed by several stab wounds on Tuesday evening in Évry-Courcouronnes (Essonne).
According to our information, the alleged perpetrator is the victim's companion, aged 48.
After fleeing, he was arrested this Wednesday morning in Viry-Chatillon.
The facts occurred around 11 p.m., in front of the couple's daughter, a 14-year-old teenager, who called the police.
On the spot, the officials discovered the 43-year-old mother in a pool of blood, affected by several stab wounds on the upper body.
"Following an argument, the man took a knife and attacked his partner," says a source familiar with the matter.
The assailant then fled and allegedly tried to end his life.

He was finally arrested this Wednesday morning in Viry-Chatillon in a state of hypothermia after spending the night outside.
“The couple is not known to the police for acts of domestic violence,” adds a source.
The investigation was entrusted to the departmental security of Essonne.
