At 8:47 am today (28th), a woman was hit by a van and fell into a coma outside Kowloon Hospital at 147A Argyle Street.
An ambulance arrived, and the 61-year-old female victim was semi-conscious. She was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for emergency treatment, and she regained consciousness.
A pool of blood and a mask were left at the scene, and police officers arrived at the scene to measure the location and distance of the accident.
The driver of the truck involved boarded a police car to assist in the investigation.
Sources at the scene indicated that the injured were employees of the Hospital Authority, who were responsible for answering the epidemic prevention hotline.
