In Herrsching, nine-year-old Franz, Levi, Max and Valentin collected rubbish and rubbish as the "Herrschinger Klauberstorks".
The campaign was initiated by two committed fathers.
Equipped with grabs, rubbish bags and buckets, the group picked up all sorts of rubbish and leftovers on their cleaning tour between the S-Bahn station, Kurparkschlösschen and pier.
Garbage picking is like treasure hunting
"The children were easily excited about World Cleanup Day," says one of the organizers.
“For them, picking it up is like a treasure hunt.
Except that the "treasure" ends up in the dump."
