Rapper Kaaris, accused of violence by his ex-girlfriend, was taken into police custody on Tuesday, September 27, said the Évry prosecution, contacted by AFP.
Kaaris, a 42-year-old rapper from Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis) who achieved success with the release of his album

in 2013, is accused by his ex-girlfriend of having assaulted her in Linas (Essonne) at the south of Paris, January 19, 2021. His ex-companion filed a complaint on July 7, leading to the opening of a preliminary investigation in Évry.
For his part, Kaaris filed a complaint for slanderous denunciation.
