Next Sunday, the electronic tracking system for all public transportation on all lines in the city of Damascus will begin.
During a meeting held today headed by the Governor of Damascus, Engineer Muhammad Tariq Kreishati, to review the percentage of installing electronic tracking devices for public transport, which amounted to more than 75 percent, it was decided to stop supplying the mechanism that did not pay the device fees starting from 1-10, and the supply of mechanisms that did not pay the device fees will also be stopped. She paid the fees and did not install from 8-10.
It was also stressed the need for all public transportation to work on the lines specified for them, to stop the supply cards for means of transportation that do not adhere to the path of the line specified for them, and to provide them with the amount of fuel according to the distance they travel within their path.
The meeting was attended by the General Manager of the Syrian Company for the Storage and Distribution of Petroleum Products “Fuel” Ahmed Al-Shammat, the Vice President of the Executive Office, Dr. Ahmed Al-Nabulsi, the members of the Executive Office, Shadi Sukkariyeh, Mazen Dabbas, and the concerned managers.
