188 police officers from the Bavarian University of Applied Sciences passed their exams - despite difficult conditions during their studies due to the corona pandemic.
Fürstenfeldbruck – There are many women among the best.
State Secretary Sandro Kirchner congratulated the newly appointed commissioners at the graduation ceremony in the town hall.
Because among the special challenges, the year with an average grade of 9.58 points is one of the best in the past 20 years.
Therefore, the State Secretary in the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior paid tribute to the graduates in his speech.
"You have accepted these challenges very successfully and have already demonstrated in this phase that you have skills such as flexibility and self-management," said Kirchner.
"You have already demonstrated a basic requirement for their future use."
Kirchner described passing the career exam as a major milestone in her life.
"As of today, you are switching to police practice." The graduates are well prepared for the challenges of everyday police work.

"You can all smile today," said the President of the University of Applied Sciences, Ingbert Hoffmann, to the graduates during his speech.
"Soon you will be wearing the silver star on your epaulettes." It didn't fall from the sky, you worked hard for it.
Hoffmann compared the five points of the star to five factors that he believed were critical to successful training.
From the personal commitment of the graduates, to the trusting cooperation with all police associations, the heart and soul of the lecturers, to the support of family members.
"A star that bears your name," Hoffmann used at the end of a well-known hit.
With a look at the ten best graduates, including seven female police officers alone, there is no need to discuss a quota for women in the police force, said Deputy District Administrator Michael Schanderl.
He congratulated the graduates who have successfully completed a two or three-year training period.
“Your diligence, perseverance and commitment were recognized when you were presented with your diploma.” He advised the graduates not to forget the friendships that were made during their training.
"Maintain these valuable contacts, life will thank you for it," said Schanderl.
He gave the graduates a saying to take with them: "Good friends are like the stars, even if you don't see them, they're there."
None of the speakers left out two topics, starting with the welcome by the deputy head of department Gerhard Walter, through to the address by the representative of the graduates, Lorenz Werner: the difficult conditions for the students during the training due to the effects of Corona and the support during the training period by family members.
