The General Manager of Hama Oils Company, Eng. Abdul Majeed Kelfa, revealed that profits were achieved at a value of one billion and 223 million pounds during the first eight months of this year, while the value of sales amounted to two billion and 740 million pounds, including 43 tons of oil and 898 tons of cake, in addition to 570 tons of lint and 6 tons of soap.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Abdul Majeed indicated that the company had completed the production cycle for the current season by squeezing about 1,313 tons of cotton seeds.
He said: The season witnessed a remarkable improvement in the quality of the product, which led to an increase in the demand for the company's products of cotton oil, indicating that the company markets its production of oils to the public authorities of the Syrian institutions for trade, the military social institution, the halls of the Ministry of Industry and the company's sales center and helps the consumer to reach A local product at a reduced price compared to the current prices on the market by 50 percent.
