While his soldiers are dying for him, Vladimir Putin is supposed to be secretly taking a break in a luxury mansion.

The public is to be deceived with pre-produced videos.

Update from September 26, 4:14 p.m

.: The Kremlin boss is apparently back from his reported luxury vacation.

According to the state news agency Tass, Vladimir Putin met the Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko at his summer residence near Sochi. The two are said to have talked about the conscript Russian men who have been fleeing Russia since the announced partial mobilization.

First report from September 26th

: Moscow – For Waldimir Putin, the Ukraine war has not been going as planned for a long time.

The ongoing Ukrainian counter-offensive is showing signs of success, and Russian army losses are high.

One response from the Kremlin chief was a partial mobilization, 300,000 reservists are to be drafted.

Putin is to go on vacation in a luxury dacha: the break should last a week

But while his soldiers are on duty, Putin is supposed to relax in one of his luxury homes.

"Following the announcement of the mobilization in Russia, President Vladimir Putin went on vacation," writes independent journalist Farida Rustamova in a post on her Telegram channel.

In this still, from video released by the Russian Presidential Press Service, Vladimir Putin announces partial mobilization on September 21, 2022.

Rustamova refers to three sources who are said to be familiar with Putin's timetable.

Accordingly, the report in which Putin announced the partial mobilization on Wednesday (September 21) at 9 a.m. was not broadcast live, but recorded beforehand.

On the same day, Putin attended a school and a concert in Veliky Novgorod.

Immediately afterwards he is said to have started his vacation, which should last at least a week.

Putin is said to be on vacation in a luxury dacha: the public is to be deceived with "canned goods".

But Putin's time out "body and soul" should be kept secret from the public.

Therefore, according to Rustamova's informants, numerous videos were recorded beforehand, which she describes as "canned".

These should be published at the right time and give the impression that Putin is doing his job in the Kremlin.

Rustamova also cites an indication from which one could conclude that Putin is not currently in the Kremlin.

On Friday he didn't come to the Z concert in central Moscow to support the referendums in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

According to his press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, the alleged reason was his work in the Kremlin.

Putin is said to be vacationing in a luxury dacha: the spa area features a cryochamber, mud bath and float pool

A meeting between Putin and Vitaly Mutko is said to have been broadcast as the first "canned".

According to Rustamova's informants, a video published on the Kremlin website on Friday of a meeting with members of the Security Council could also have been a recording.

But the dictator doesn't seem to be able to relax completely.

Because on Thursday and Friday he had telephone conversations with the President of Turkmenistan and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

According to one source, Putin's vacation home is his luxury dacha in Valdai in Novgorod Oblast, about 400 kilometers northwest of Moscow.

There will also be a spa area with a cryo chamber, mud bath and float pool.
