In recent months, we received the news that the festive E3 gaming conference has been completely canceled for 2022, and it will not take place at all, not even as an online event, but now is the time for a comeback.
The huge gaming event will return in the summer of 2023, and for the first time since E3 2019 it will also take place in a physical format at its permanent home: the Los Angeles Convention Center.
E3 2023 will take place on June 13 - 16
and will include two complexes intended for journalists and critics.
The first two days will be dedicated to businessmen and journalists, and on the third day the complex will also be open to visitors and consumers who are not related to the industry.
Since the corona epidemic broke into our lives, the conference has suffered quite a few postponements and malfunctions.
It was completely canceled in 2020 with the outbreak of the pandemic, and in 2021 it took place in a digital format and was broadcast as a network event for viewers around the world.
As mentioned, the event was canceled this year as well (2022), and many wondered what the future of the conference would be, which is considered by many to be a long-standing tradition in the industry.
To this day, E3 is considered one of the biggest conferences in the world of gaming, and for many years it has united under it all the developers and distributors who revealed during it all the developments and innovations in their arsenal - whether it is trailers for new games or the unveiling of new technologies.
In recent years there have been quite a few claims about the importance of conferences like E3 or Gamescom.
Quite a few companies and distributors realized that they do not need to share the spotlight on the various stages, and decided to hold their own broadcasts during the year.
Prominent examples of this are Sony, EA, and Nintendo.
