In an accident in Bavaria, one person died and 14 were injured, some seriously.

A serious traffic accident occurred on the B12 in southern Bavaria.
Two rescue helicopters flew the seriously injured to the hospital.
Kirchdorf am Inn – The fire brigade reports a serious traffic accident near Kirchdorf am Inn, district of Rottal-Inn.
On Wednesday morning, September 28, shortly after 3 a.m., several cars collided with a minibus.
Several people were injured, some seriously, one person did not survive the accident.
The cause of the accident is so far unclear.
Several cars and a minibus were involved in the accident and some of them were completely demolished on the side of the road.

14 people were injured in the collision, according to the latest reports from the fire department, three of them were seriously injured.
For one person, any help came too late, she died at the scene of the accident.
The seriously injured were taken to a nearby hospital in two helicopters.
Two rescue helicopters were deployed to take the seriously injured to the hospital.

Cause of accident unclear: long clean-up work
It is not yet clear how the serious accident happened.
An expert has now been called in to assist in the investigation into the course of the accident.
According to the press release from the fire brigade, the clean-up work on the B12 near the Austrian border lasted until around 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
In the pouring rain, the fire brigade, police and emergency doctor were busy until the early hours of the morning.

The B12 between Simbach and the B20 near Stammham was completely closed for the duration.
In addition, the extensive clean-up work – one of the completely demolished vehicles can be seen in the pictures, for example – was carried out under difficult conditions when heavy rain started.
