Shek Wai Kok Village unit kitchen fire was put out

At 7:05 a.m. today (28th), a neighborhood in Shek Wai Kok Village, Tsuen Wan reported to the police that thick smoke was coming from the kitchen of a unit in Shek Lan Building.

The fire department dispatched a hose and a team of smoke caps to put out the fire and confirmed that no one was in the unit.

A 42-year-old woman suffered from smoke inhalation and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
