Traffic has been cut on the A104 indoors (A3 to A4) near Gonesse (Val-d'Oise) for 5 hours this Wednesday, following an accident involving a heavy goods vehicle, according to Sytadin.
“Significant material damage was caused to a gantry which overhangs the roadway”, indicates the Direction of the roads of Île-de-France (Dirif).
As a safety measure, this section of highway has therefore been closed to traffic since the collision for an indefinite period.

The Dirif teams are “mobilized to allow the reopening as soon as possible”.
This closure, at a time when the highway is starting to get busy, paralyzed traffic for a while.
The accident caused traffic jams and confusion on the road.
Users had to take their troubles patiently to reach their destination, the traffic being very dense.
Deviations
In the meantime, the Ile-de-France roads and highways public service offers alternate routes to motorists.
To join the A6 (Lyon), from the A1 (Roissy), drivers are invited to take the A3 towards Paris, the A86 towards Bordeaux-Nantes-Lyon.
If they are going towards Marne-la-Vallée, from the A1 (Roissy), users must take the A3 towards Paris, the A86 towards Bordeaux-Nantes-Lyon and exit at Nogent and then head towards 'A4 (Metz-Nancy).
Finally, from the D170 (BIP), it is advisable to follow the A3 (Paris).
