Olli Schulz and Jan Böhmermann settle accounts with the Oktoberfest in their podcast.

Her conclusion: The Wiesn is just "a big fair where you can get drunk".

Munich - "I was there once in my life, I didn't feel anything." That's how Olli Schulz begins his statements about the Wiesn.

In the latest episode of "Fest & Flauschig", the moderator and actor worked together with his podcast colleague Jan Böhmermann at the largest folk festival on earth.

Oktoberfest criticism in podcast: "Munich gives you the feeling that you grew up too happy"

He couldn't understand the "Bohei" about the Oktoberfest at all.

At his only guest performance, which was 20 years ago, he witnessed the transformation of his roommates (both from Munich) on the festival grounds: from rationally acting students to screaming brats with Sepplhuts without cause.

In some cases, Schulz formulates it very strikingly: “At 21 people are forced to marry, they are really classic structures.

Munich gives you the feeling that things are too good for you, you grew up too happy.” The 48-year-old's certainly not entirely serious wish: “A huge truck with S****** should be driving through the city here. The residents should feel that life can also have its downsides.

Jan Böhmermann reports piqued from Wiesn experience: "As if there is a kind of compulsory costume"

Even Böhmermann will probably no longer be a fan of the celebrations on the Theresienwiese.

He looks piqued at a previous visit: “They put a pair of leather trousers in front of me, assuming that I would wear them or just touch them.

As if there was a kind of compulsion to wear traditional costumes.” Schulz's disappointed conclusion: the Oktoberfest is just a “big fair where you can get drunk”.

Millions of visitors can obviously get completely different things from the celebrations on the Theresienwiese.

This is also proven by the great Wiesn half-time record.

Around three million guests visited the Oktoberfest in the first week.

Unthinkable if the “Wiesn-Schurli” would have listened to the podcast episode with Böhmermann and Schulz.

The Austrian has been visiting the Oktoberfest every day for 39 years and makes it unmistakably clear: "Either I'm never or the Wiesn is never."
