The PSC delves into the gap between ERC and Junts with a resolution proposal on dialogue

Once the melee between the leaders of the parliamentary benches and the president of the Generalitat has been overcome, the General Policy Debate enters the phase of negotiating the resolution proposals.

The PSC has already registered its own and in one of them, regarding the dialogue table, it delves into the gap between the Govern partners on that instrument.

Each group can present a total of 15 resolution proposals and the last of those registered by the Catalan Socialists refers to the dialogue with the central government.

It is intended that the Chamber support "initiatives that through dialogue, negotiation and agreement" help to overcome political polarization in Catalonia.

In addition, the Executive shared by ERC and Junts is urged to "bet on the political path and the search for agreed solutions to resolve the political conflict".

The PSC also wants the groups to position themselves on the Government's commitment "to the work of the dialogue table and to integrate them into their respective political agendas."

Although a conciliatory spirit emerges from the text, the resolution proposal comes at a hot moment, just after ERC and Junts have collided, this Tuesday, in Parliament due to the pro-independence orientation of the Executive in general and due to the scope of that forum dialogue in particular.

The disagreement led to a new threat from those of Laura Borràs: they will force a motion of confidence in Aragonès if there are no "guarantees" on the part of the Republicans that there is a collegiate leadership of the independence movement, there is coordination of action in Congress and in the dialogue table only addresses self-determination.

At a sectoral level, the PSC also wants a national pact for water to be approved in the next two months, in order to have a new instrument to combat drought.

Also that there is a new Forest Law before the end of the first semester of 2023 and a shock plan against illegal occupations.

Also, that the next financial year begin with new Budgets, and that these be the result of a "broad and cross-sectional" agreement.

In ERC they resist the PSC being a possible partner, despite the fact that the Minister of Economy, Jaume Giró (Junts) does not close that possibility.

The parties have until 9:00 this Wednesday to present their texts and until noon on Thursday to negotiate possible transactions.

The vote will be on Friday.
