"Jihad is our way," the crowds chanted following the death of the four gunmen.
Fathi Hazem, the father of Red Hazem, the terrorist who carried out the attack in Dizengoff, and of Abd Hazem, who was killed this morning in the activities of the security forces in the Jenin refugee camp, addressed the youth of the camp.
"The camp is a deposit on your neck, the unity of the camp is on you, stay united, be one man," said the father, "our young people will not raise their hands and will not surrender. Destroy my house but not our will. Kill my sons, they are martyrs in the sight of Allah."
Hazem is considered wanted and there have been previous attempts to arrest him.

The Secretary General of the PLO Executive Committee, Hussein al-Sheikh, announced that "the Israeli government bears the responsibility and consequences for the great crime committed in Jenin. We demand that the international community act to protect the Palestinian people."
The Fatah movement condemned what they called the "massacre" that took place in Jenin and said that this would only "add determination to the resistance" on the way to achieving freedom and independence.
Mourning and a general strike were declared in Jenin and other cities.
In the old city of Nablus, the shops were also closed as a sign of mourning and sympathy with the dead.
In Ramallah a procession was organized in support of the Hazem family, and in Hebron masked people burned tires and called for a strike.
The branches of the Fatah movement in northern Samaria called for a day of rage and escalation at the points of conflict.
