The group, which gained popularity on Buzzfeed for its viral videos and eventually went it alone to start producing content through its own company, announced Tuesday that founding member Ned Fulmer "no longer works with The Try Guys."

"As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a way forward together," read a statement posted on social media.

"We appreciate your support as we navigate this change."

The statement did not detail the nature of the review.

Fulmer, who along with Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld and Eugene Lee Yang was one of the founding members, had been the subject of speculative chatter on Reddit and other social media platforms before his ouster over allegations of infidelity.

In a statement posted on Instagram, Fulmer said he had been in "a consensual employment relationship."

"I'm sorry for any pain my actions may have caused the boys and the fans, but especially Ariel," he wrote.

"The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that's where I'm going to focus my attention."

In addition to the video series featuring all four original members, The Try Guys YouTube channel also features series featuring the individual Try Guys and people in their orbit, including several featuring Fumler. And his wife.

Since leaving Buzzfeed in 2018, The Try Guys have expanded their brand to include a bestselling book, tour, documentary, and Food Network show called "No Recipe Road Trip with the Try Guys," inspired by their YouTube series. of similar name.
