“The wounds I sustained on the battlefields taught me that nothing is impossible in the face of will and determination,” words in which the wounded Sa’ir Ezz El-Din Shiha stressed the importance of showing will, through which he was able to return to university studies, after performing his national duty with his comrades-in-arms in The Syrian Arab Army.

Al-Jarih continues his entire conversation with SANA by saying: “Recently, I and my comrades were on the battlefields, defending the homeland from terrorism and protecting its children from its abomination. After my injury, I left the gun to come back today and carry between my fingers a pen and a book, and I hope that I will graduate from the field of law, to chart a future worthy of With our ambitions and our love for this country.”

The wounded Saer was born in 1988, from Homs governorate, and had suspended his studies at the Faculty of Law in the third year, to join the Syrian Arab Army, and the injury later on on the battlefield did not prevent him from renewing his hope to continue his studies and achieve what he aspired to, and he says: “I aspire to continue Study after graduating from the Faculty of Law, and also study economics, because it is a very important scientific field in the upcoming reconstruction phase.”

Exceptional situations and circumstances that a person does not normally witness in his public life. The wounded man lived through the years of the war on Syria, and his presence in the ranks of the army, so he formulated them in many poetic and prose poems, which he is currently working on collecting in one book according to his description.

Not only that, but Al-Jarih worked on developing and spreading his literary talent, so he participated in the cultural evenings launched by the “Wounded Homeland” project in Homs as a token of loyalty to the blood that wrote victory over the enemies of the homeland and humanity, as he put it.

At the end of his speech, the wounded man pays tribute to the families of the martyrs and the wounded, and pays tribute to their patience, strength, and determination to follow the path that was baptized with the pure blood of their children, which lit the path of victory and charted the future of the country.
