referendums
in favor of joining Russia obtained Soviet results in the regions of Zaporijjia (93.11%), Kherson (87.05%), Lugansk (98.42%) and Donetsk (99.23%).
What credibility should be given to these figures?

These results do not reflect much.
Of course, part of the population in these regions, particularly in the Donbass, is angry with the authorities in kyiv for having seen their territory bombarded since 2014, and these are satisfied to join the Russian Federation .
But certainly not in such proportions.
There is no need to go back over the botched conduct of this election.
