A fierce aggression launched by the Israeli occupation against the city of Jenin and its camp in the West Bank, in an attempt to break the steadfastness of its people in the face of its crimes and practices.

A demonstration took place in Ramallah, rejecting the crimes of the occupation, during which the participants chanted slogans, according to what was reported by Wafa Agency, condemning the barbaric aggression against the Jenin refugee camp and demanding the unity of the Palestinian ranks to confront the Israeli escalation, denouncing the international inaction regarding the crimes committed by the occupation.

The spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, indicated that the occupation underestimates the lives of the Palestinian people as a result of the silence of the international community or its contentment with formal condemnation statements that do not reach the level of the killings that Palestinians are exposed to, expanding settlement operations, demolishing homes and targeting Islamic and Christian holy sites.

Abu Rudeineh called on the international community to translate the timid statements of condemnation into practical steps that oblige the occupation to stop its escalation and its continued violation of international law.

For his part, Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh affirmed that the crime of the occupation killing four young men and wounding dozens in Jenin and the horrific crimes that preceded it require accountability before the International Criminal Court. Jerusalem.

In turn, Palestinian government spokesman Ibrahim Melhem said: The aggression that took place in Jenin this morning, during which four martyrs rose, and the previous storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and before that the field executions practiced by the occupation will not affect the resolve of the Palestinians, and their insistence on obtaining their rights and liberating their land .

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry considered that the occupation’s storming of Jenin and the accompanying crimes amounting to war crimes and crimes against humanity require an active international position to compel the occupation to stop this criminal escalation, stressing the need to hold the occupation accountable and put an end to its impunity.

For its part, the Fatah movement affirmed that the massacre committed by the occupation in Jenin will only increase the Palestinians' determination to resist it, leading to its defeat and the attainment of freedom and independence, noting that these massacres committed in full view of the world would not have continued without the international silence about them.

Nablus Governor Ibrahim Ramadan said: What happened in Jenin and before that, Nablus, and everything that the Al-Aqsa Mosque and every spot in this country is exposed to is a plan by the occupation and its settlers to try to break the resolve of our people, but our steadfastness will fail all the plans of the occupation.

Earlier, the occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin and its camp, and raided Palestinian homes amid heavy firing of bullets and poison gas canisters, and shelled with an anti-tank missile the house of the family of the martyr Raad Hazem, which resulted in the death of his brother Abdel Rahman, Muhammad Alona, Ahmed Alawneh and Muhammad Abu Naasa, and injuring 44 others. Two of them are dangerous, as they surrounded the city of Jenin from all directions and prevented ambulances from reaching the area.
