Sharm El Sheikh-SANA
With the participation of Syria and under the slogan “Prospects for Arab Retirement Systems for the Year 2050, Change and Opportunities,” the work of the Arab Conference on Retirement and Social Security was launched today in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
The Syrian delegation includes the Director General of the General Organization for Social Insurance Yahya Ahmed and the Director General of the General Organization for Insurance and Pensions, Bassem Al-Jaja.
Focusing on issues related to social protection policies and institutional frameworks for pension services and pension products in the region and North Africa, the conference is a platform that brings together workers in the public and private sector pension sector and their associated service providers from experts, asset managers, risk managers, information technology providers, financial technology and insurance on life.
The conference will bring together a range of global economic organizations, policy makers, government and private pension funds, financial providers of pension services, regulators, asset managers, experts and the financial industry.
