With the participation of Syria... The Eighth Global Green Economy Summit kicked off today in Dubai, which will last for two days.
The World Green Economy Summit will bring together a large number of global speakers, officials, representatives of government institutions, large companies, experts and academics, as well as leaders of sustainable finance from all over the world.
The participating Syrian delegation is headed by the Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, and in the presence of the Syrian Ambassador to the UAE, Dr. Ghassan Abbas.
Participants in the summit will discuss a number of main themes such as energy, finance, food security, youth, and other topics that contribute to advancing the process of transition towards a green economy and accelerating the wheel of sustainable development.
