Shortly after the opening in 2021, Jürgen Gosch had to close his posh restaurant "Jünne" again.
Now he is planning the dazzling conversion of the restaurant on Sylt.
List/Sylt – It was his gastronomic dream that Jürgen Gosch fulfilled on his 80th birthday.
But shortly after the opening in 2021, reality caught up with him: his posh restaurant "Jünne" in List on Sylt had to close due to a lack of staff.
There is a shortage of skilled workers everywhere on the North Sea island of Sylt.
Therefore, the Sylt veteran Gosch had to completely rethink the concept for his "Jünne", the reopening planned for September was postponed.
His latest idea for the "Jünne": A conversion in the "Las Vegas style", as reported by 24hamburg.de.

Mini Las Vegas in List: Gosch plans “culinary amusement park”
When people think of "Las Vegas" many people think of gambling, spectacular shows and a sea of lights.
The northernmost casino in Germany on the celebrity island of Sylt closed a few years ago.
Since then, roulette and blackjack have been a thing of the past on the North Sea island - the Sylt Surfing Museum could soon move into the premises of the former casino next to the Westerland town hall.
But the latest plans by Jürgen Gosch are not about gambling.
A sea of lights is more like it.
“Here on the black wall, there is the illuminated lettering Jünne.
All pillars are illuminated, like a fireball.
It's going to be huge!
We really want to make halligalli here,” Gosch enthuses to the
Hamburger Abendblatt
.
In addition to drinks from the Gosch range, he wants to offer upscale cuisine in the "Jünne".
In the lower area in the old boat hall, there should be no more food from 8:30 p.m. at the latest.
Then the guests should come to feast on the upper floor in the "Jünne", which Jürgen Gosch imagines as a "culinary amusement park".

"Jünne" is to become a center of attraction in List after renovation
Jürgen Gosch has planned the opening party for his "Mini Las Vegas" near the luxury resort Lanserhof Sylt in List for this year.
The renovation work should be completed by Christmas and the "Jünne" should shine in new splendor.
The new covered entrance area, reminiscent of a gangway, is already finished.
The opening in December will only be a short test run for the redesigned "Jünne".
From January 2023 there will be a winter break.
Next spring, Gosch would like to start normal operations with his dream restaurant, which was named after the nickname "Jünne" of the restaurateur.

Jürgen Gosch will probably withdraw the staff for his culinary amusement park from his restaurant "Pier 67" at Lister Hafen.
The "Pier 67" should then become more of a relaxed Gosch snack bar with pizza and currywurst for the young people, Gosch said in an interview with the
Hamburger Abendblatt
.
It all started for Jürgen Gosch in the 1970s with a snack bar at the port of List.
Now he wants to create a new attraction in the northernmost island town of List with the "Jünne".
Divided opinions on Gosch's Las Vegas plans: "Now he takes off"
The reactions in the social media to the latest plans of the Sylt veteran are very different.
Some are excited about the new restaurant, find Jürgen “Jünne” Gosch cool and the plans “very interesting”.
But there are also critical voices.
"Now he's taking off," a user commented on a report by the
Hamburger Abendblatt
on Gosch's plans on Facebook.
"No one needs that kind of crap," says another, commenting on the idea of "Mini Las Vegas" in List.

With the planned conversion of his restaurant "Jünne", Gosch is at least looking to the future with confidence.
For other companies on the North Sea island of Sylt, on the other hand, things are looking bad.
The traditional restaurant "Eiche" in Tinnum is demolished and made room for two semi-detached houses.
One reason for the abandonment of the restaurant is the lack of young talent in the gastronomy sector.
And in Westerland, too, locals and guests have to do without a popular restaurant.
The Badezeit beach restaurant, which was destroyed by fire in mid-September, will probably not be rebuilt until 2024.
