The Göttingen "crime scene" returns: On October 9, "Mord am Kiessee" can be seen on ARD.

The actress duo Florence Kasumba and Maria Furtwängler will be present at the preview at the Cinemaxx.

Göttingen – There they are standing in front of the blue wall with the “Tatort” crosshairs logo: the athletic Florence Kasumba in a wide, high-necked blouse with bold splashes of color and elegant, loose beige trousers, next to her delicate colleague Maria Furtwängler in a low-cut light-grey sweater and dark skirt .

For Furtwangler, posing and smiling has long been routine for the photographers.

No wonder: 30 times in 20 years she has filmed and presented an episode of the legendary crime series in "Das Erste".

The preview for the latest Göttingen "Tatort", which will be shown on Sunday, October 9th, was shown on Wednesday (September 28th, 2022) in Cinemaxx.

The audience acknowledged the film with applause, as reported by hna.de.

1400 wanted to win tickets for the NDR preview, a good 500 were lucky.

You already know the murderer that detectives Charlotte Lindholm and Anais Schmitz identified in the new Göttingen "crime scene".

It is the fifth since the rebellious Lindholm was transferred from the LKA Hanover to the police department in Göttingen.

It is clear that Charlotte Lindholm's return to Hanover has not yet been decided.

NDR director Joachim Knuth

NDR director Joachim Knuth did not want to sign whether it will continue for her and her strong partner Anais Schmitz in the university town.

"It is clear that Charlotte Lindholm's return to Hanover has not yet been decided," said Knuth, for whom the film presentation may have been one of the more pleasant dates in recent critical times.

Florence Kasumba and Maria Furtwängler were relaxed and in a good mood in the lively talk session with NDR presenter Jan Starkebaum.

Also present was actor Sascha Gersak, who embodies a football coach.

30th case in 20 years for Commissioner Lindholm: NDR presented "Mord am Kiessee" in Göttingen's Cinemaxx

"The revenge on the world" touches on hot irons: the people in Göttingen are unsettled, a sex offender - "The Viking" - strikes.

The body of a previously abused young woman is found at the Kiessee.

A witness claims to have recognized a man with a migration background.

At the same time, a long-term soccer world record is being set by a refugee initiative on a sports field – the scenes were filmed in Hamburg.

Charlotte Lindholm follows the apparently hot lead.

Anais Schmitz does not agree with this.

The film, which offers twists and turns, is based on a true case - which happened in Freiburg - which author Daniel Nocke processed at NDR's request.

Maria Furtwängler is aware of the explosive nature of the subject of refugees as suspected criminals.

In the first case in Göttingen, "The Missing Child", a refugee boy was also suspected.

It's a "tightrope walk," says Furtwängler.

For her as Charlotte Lindholm, it was interesting to deal with prejudices.

Racism, prejudice and trust: the Göttingen "crime scene" deals with sensitive issues

After being threatened by several men with a migration background in a hairdressing salon, later as an investigator to be able to approach these men impartially.

The commissioner had to deal with the "racist reflexes" that many people have.

I believe we can all find racist reflexes within ourselves if we are vigilant.

Maria Furtwangler

"I believe we can all find it within ourselves if we are vigilant."

It is important to classify this topic in a context in the film, and the author Daniel Nocke did a good job.

Incidentally, the men in the real hairdressing salon in Göttingen were actually “totally nice” to Furtwangler, as she says.

Quotes for the preview in the Göttingen Cinemaxx

"Experiencing two such talented and successful actresses personally in our small university town is something very special," said one of the happy viewers enthusiastically.

"I've been a Tatort fan for as long as I can remember," says the 65-year-old from Göttingen.

Her friend and companion that evening was more cautious: "Furtwängler and Kasumba are a great couple of investigators, a bit like fire and water." However, the story seems a bit too constructed, sometimes not very conclusive.

Nevertheless, the evening was fun for the two women.

Göttingen appears less intensively in this "crime scene".

A lot was recorded at the Hamburg location.

Incidentally, Florence Kasumba and Furtwangler have little contact with the city and the people, too little, as they both said.

"Unfortunately, I don't get enough of the city, I'm only there in blocks, starting Monday, the days are packed, then on Friday evening I'll quickly go back to my family in Berlin." to play along".

NDR is dedicating a compilation with a Lindenberg soundtrack to actress Maria Furtwängler for the anniversary

In any case, Maria Furtwängler was celebrated in the cinema on Wednesday: On the occasion of the 20th anniversary as Charlotte Lindholm, NDR showed a successful compilation of 30 crime scenes - with the crackling scene in Furtwängler's "Everything Returns", when Lindenberg told the fascinated Furtwängler that wonderful piece "again exactly like that" sang.

Furtwängler picked up the ball after the "birthday film: "Yes, I would do it the same way again." She added humorously: "Man, I was young once!

And my daughter was 10, now she's 30."

In any case, Furtwangler does not want to think about ending as a crime scene inspector.

She would like to continue, but still wishes that she could produce more episodes herself, as said with buddy Udo in Hamburg.

The city of Göttingen has been named “Film Location of the Month” for September by the German Film Commissions (GFC) and the Nordmedia Film Commission.
