After opening the tinfoil bags, officers found that each tea bag contained a bag of suspected methamphetamine that had been vacuum-treated. Zhang Guangda pointed out that the arrested man was 15 years old and reported that he had dropped out of school in the second year of secondary school and is currently unemployed.
The investigation showed that the arrested person had a triad background. Customs believed that his role was to receive and deliver goods. It was not the first time that he had engaged in drug trafficking activities.
The arrested person has been charged with one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug and will appear in Fanling Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (30th).
