In front of the university restaurant (RU) on the Grimaldi campus, in Corte (Haute-Corse), Yasmine, 22, takes a look at her watch.
Shortly after 7 p.m., Dumè, an employee of the regional center for university and school works (Crous) in Corsica, unlocks the door.
Yasmine and a few other young people her age rush into the building.
Leaving the cordon-bleu offered that evening, the Algerian, on exchange at the University of Corsica for her L3 computer science, fills her tray with rice salad, vegetables, bread, cheese, banana, before heading to the cash desk run by Maud, 24, also a student.

Since the start of the school year, five days a week, noon and evening, the Crous of the University of Corsica has offered all students a free meal.
