The list of companies interested in Atos gems is growing.
The company confirmed that it had received on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 an "
unsolicited letter of intent
" from the French company Onepoint, associated with the Anglo-Saxon investment fund ICG, for the potential acquisition of its digital and cyber activities.
But the Atos board of directors decided unanimously not to follow up.
"
This is not in the interest of society,
" said a statement.
Onepoint's offer related to the scope of the future “Evidian” for an enterprise value of 4.2 billion euros.
A figure that does not take into account the debt and various commitments, we explain at Atos.
The actual supply was therefore well below this figure, and closer to the group's current capitalization level.
Onepoint is a French digital services company, created in 2002 by David Layani.
It has 2,300 employees.
The rumor about the Onepoint offer leaked before the closing of the Paris Stock Exchange.
So much so that the stock market price soared by 10%.
