Oliver Heise has been missing since his trip to Gran Canaria, the backpacker disappeared just one day after his arrival.

Now investigators reach 13 clues.

Where is Oliver Heise and what happened to the young backpacker from Germany?

This question is not only asked by the family of the missing young man, investigators are also feverishly looking for the 23-year-old.

The police hope that the broadcast on the ZDF program Aktenzeichen XY will give them new clues in the missing person case.

And indeed: numerous whistleblowers contacted the investigators after the TV broadcast.

But there is still no trace of Oliver Heise.

As the police explained in a statement the day after the live broadcast on Thursday, September 22, 2022, around 13 tips had been received by the investigators in Germany at that time.

“Seven tips were submitted via the tip portal.

Six via the information hotline set up specifically for this purpose," the police said in a statement.

"We are very satisfied with the result so far," explains Julia Haase, press spokeswoman for the Nienburg/Schaumburg police inspection.

"It was the right decision to approach the production company."

So far, however, there has not been any specific information leading to the whereabouts of the missing backpacker.

"However, it cannot be ruled out that the reports will enable us to take new investigative steps or narrow down/focus the search area," Haase continued.

The majority of the information received comes from tourists from Germany who are back home after their vacation on Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

Anyone who has seen Oliver Heise, can provide information about him or has discovered a clue to his current whereabouts within social media can upload it via the information portal and thus transmit it to the Nienburg/Schaumburg police.

Gran Canaria – There is still no trace of the young backpacker Oliver Heise from the Diepholz district.

The 23-year-old left for a trip to Gran Canaria as a backpacker at the beginning of August, only one day later he lost contact with the young man from Germany.

Since then, Oliver Heise has been considered missing.

Not only Spanish emergency services but also investigators in Germany are looking for the backpacker.

The young backpacker also did not take the planned return flight to Germany, and his family waited in vain at the airport.

As the police further explained, among other things, the telecommunications data were evaluated.

The last time Oliver Heise was probably on the east coast of Tenerife.

The Spanish police are also looking for the young German.

According to this, investigators on site searched for Oliver Heise with public searches on the radio, in the press and in social networks.

Search campaigns have also not been successful so far, Oliver Heise is still considered missing.

Now a TV show may bring the breakthrough in the missing person case.

As the ZDF program explains in a press release in the run-up to the program, the missing person case of Oliver Heise is to be addressed in the current issue.
