His memoir has shattered the crown before.

Did King Charles III.

made a deal with his son to defuse the follow-up book?

London – In a panic, Prince Harry (38) “desperately” tried to make last-minute changes to his apparently explosive memoirs after the death of his royal grandmother Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022).

So soon after the popular monarch's death and his father's accession to the throne, he feared some passages were "insensitive," it said.

But now leaked out: A deal with King Charles III.

(73) could be behind it.

Will Prince Harry keep silent so his children can call themselves prince and princess?

As royal expert Katie Nicholl claims to have learned, it is all about the prince titles of Harry's children: Archie (3) and Lilibet (1).

The alleged deal should look like this: If Harry softens his memoirs, his children can use the royal status that can only be granted to them by the acting regent.

"Charles is ready to award the titles, but only if father and son can return to a bond of trust,"

Nicholl told British media.

The second part of Harry's memoir was announced for autumn, but Queen's death is said to have slowed down the king's second-born.

Out of respect for his beloved grandmother, he would have wanted to revise the book again.

There was also a lot of speculation that the deal worth millions behind the contract with Random House had to be "relevant". A first version had apparently been corrected because of too few facts and too many expressions of emotion.

A relatively specific period for Prince Harry's memoirs was announced "tentatively for the end of 2022".

"An inspiring, courageous and uplifting human story", it should be.

The announcement went on to say he would publish the books "not as the prince I was born to be, but as the man I became."

Harry's title is a birthright, but his children are different

The titles of their descendants are said to be extremely important to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as they can apparently guarantee them a certain level of royal security standards.

Harry's princely title is a birthright as the son of a former heir to the throne.

Strictly speaking, this makes Meghan a princess by virtue of her marriage.

However, her children receive the title only if bestowed upon them by the head of the crown.

A source told The Sun on Sunday the publisher had pledged millions for a four-title deal because the prince's global fame was worth it.

"Harry is desperately trying to edit passages," an insider told The Mirror.

The tension is rising as to whether and when Prince Harry's work will actually end up on the book shelves.
