We are probably not getting too far in imagining that certain sets will draw the thread of the heritage and maintain the spirit of the place.
Pillars of the great history of the house, they are also the witnesses of a thousand anecdotes that they would tell us with delight.
They would make us smile, depicting the embarrassment of the sellers, that day in 1906 when the young Aga Khan had to wait while Louis Cartier took care of John Pierpont Morgan, then the richest man in the world.
