"I thought this demolition has historical significance." So the photographer Johann Belle, who lives in the municipality of Wörthsee, took his camera and his drone and shot photos of the last hours of the old Wörthsee town hall on the main street in Steinebach.
Steinebach
- Until 1972, the building was used for the administration of the then independent community of Steinebach, then it served as the town hall of the community of Wörthsee and quickly became too small.
In 1990, the administration moved to its new domicile on the lake, and the old town hall functioned as a medical practice from then on.
The community finally decided to sell it.
However, it took a long time before she reached an agreement with the buyer about the development.
Most recently, refugees lived in the building.
An apartment building with three apartments is now being built there.
