Ayalon routes will be closed tonight (Thursday) in the section between the Halacha and Shalom interchange in the south direction - this was announced by the Ayalon routes company.
This, for the purpose of soil monitoring works in the area of the sinkhole that opened on the road about two weeks ago.
The blockade will be carried out from 22:00 until 06:00 from the Arlozorov interchange in the direction of Ayalon Darom.
In addition, between the hours of midnight and 05:00, Ayalon Darom will be hermetically blocked between the Halacha Interchange and the Peace Interchange.
Due to this, it will not be possible to enter Ayalon Darom from the Halacha interchange, and the entrance to the road will be made at the Shalom interchange.
"The works are coordinated with the police who will be present at the site and are carried out at night in order to make it easier for the drivers and to minimize the inconvenience, when the traffic will be diverted to parallel roads," the company said in a statement.
