As-Suwayda-Sana
The Directorate of Agriculture in As-Suwayda Governorate has started allocating diesel fuel for apple storage and cooling units in production sites, in which the hours of electrical rationing have not been reduced to ensure the continuity of their work, and to store the product as required.
The assistant director of As-Suwayda Agriculture, Engineer Alaa Shehayeb, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the allocation of the material came based on the decision of the Sub-Fuels Committee, after the necessary inspection was carried out by those concerned in the Directorate of Agriculture on the storage units, provided that the quantities of apples stored in each unit were not less than 25 tons.
Shehayeb indicated that supplying the storage units with diesel is done at the industrial price after transferring the beneficiaries from their owners from the Directorate to the branch of the Syrian Fuel Company to receive their allocations, at a rate of 400 liters per month for units that have less than three storage rooms, and 600 liters for units that have more than three storage rooms.
