,” they added, without specifying on what date this meeting would finally take place.

The head of the Spanish government announced on Twitter on Sunday that he had tested positive for Covid-19, a few days after taking part in the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He has since suspended much of his schedule, content to participate in events by videoconference.

Created in 2016 to strengthen cooperation between the countries of southern Europe, the EuroMed group - or Med-9 - is made up of Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus, Malta, Slovenia and Croatia.
The heads of state or government of these countries, including French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, were expected Friday in Alicante, a seaside resort in southeastern Spain.
