Fire rages in terraced house: several people injured

Large-scale operation in Gröbenzell: The fire brigade was called to a fire in a terraced house on Mittenwaldstrasse early on Wednesday morning.
Gröbenzell – When the rescuers arrived at the scene of the accident, flames were already shooting out of the building.
Parts of the ground floor and the stairwell were in full fire.
According to the Gröbenzell fire brigade, three people fled from the smoke and flames onto a balcony.
They brought the task forces to safety via ladders.
Two young men had managed to get out on their own.
All were transported to the hospital by ambulance with smoke inhalation.

The two neighboring terraced houses were evacuated as a precaution, but the residents were able to return after the extinguishing work.
The affected house is uninhabitable.
The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
The damage is in the six-digit range.
41 emergency services from the Gröbenzell fire brigade, Puchheim train station and the district fire inspection as well as the emergency services and the police were on site.
