"It's a shame that we're sitting together again," a celebrity from the USA described his trip to the Oktoberfest with moderator Kai Pflaume.

Munich – High-ranking visitors to the Wiesn are not uncommon.

Already on the tapping weekend, the celebrities gave each other the handle.

If you want to meet well-known names during your stroll, you should head for very specific addresses on the festival grounds.

Even if "Terminator" Arnold Schwarzenegger from the USA recently flew into the Marstall marquee: Most Oktoberfest visitors come from Germany;

more precisely from Bavaria, more precisely from Munich.

Oktoberfest: Kai Pflaume and US celebrity on the road together – "How does he know him?"

So if a genuine US celebrity can be seen at the fairground, that's an eye-catcher.

And when a well-known German TV presenter joins them, even more so.

On a rainy Oktoberfest evening, Kai Pflaume took the opportunity to greet Apple CEO Tim Cook at the edge of the festival grounds.

And the two joked like old buddies, as seen in an Instagram video shared by Plum.

"Good to see her again.

Good, look,” the 55-year-old Munich resident flattered the boss of the US hardware and software giant, who is dressed in a traditional jacket.

Did the two already sit together at the regulars' table?

This question also worries an Instagram user, who comments stunned under the video: "How on earth does he know the Apple boss?"

Even at the last edition in 2019, Cook did not miss a visit to the Wiesn - and shone with a clean sunburn in front of the Beetle tent.

It is quite possible that he also met plum at the time.

In any case, on Tuesday evening (September 27), Cook and the German TV presenter toasted the Oktoberfest comeback in the celebrity tavern.

The next day, the Apple CEO tweeted a picture of the meeting.

For the photo, which also shows plums, he writes in perfect Bavarian: "It's a pity that we're sitting happily together again." And for his international followers: "So happy to be back at Oktoberfest."

Pflaume spoke on Instagram of a "very nice meeting".

He exchanged ideas with Cook about "the Wiesn, his job, my job, technology, leisure and sport".

The traditionally large Schickeria show running on the first weekend of the Wiesn was also well-known in 2022.

Among others, Thomas Gottschalk, "Mörtel" Lugner and Günter Netzer celebrated.
