Consumer prices rose massively in September.
This was not only due to the end of the tank discount and 9-euro ticket.
Wiesbaden - In September, inflation in Germany was back in double digits for the first time in over 70 years.
Consumer prices were 10.0 percent above the level of the same month last year, as the Federal Statistical Office announced on Thursday based on preliminary data.
In August, the annual inflation rate was still 7.9 percent.
