Kreissparkasse makes itself pretty

The Sparkasse building on the corner of Wittelsbacherstrasse and Ludwigstrasse is currently scaffolded.
A spokeswoman said that the renovation work would have no impact on ongoing operations or other users of the building.

The Kreissparkasse München Starnberg Ebersberg is currently having its building in the center of Starnberg refurbished.
As spokeswoman Kerstin Brehm said at the request of Starnberger Merkur, "extensive renovation work on the roof and facade" would be carried out by the end of the year.
“The aim is to upgrade the building in terms of energy and appearance,” she said.

- Defects on the facade would be repaired and algae growth removed.
In addition, the facade will be cleaned and then given a new coat of paint.
The spokeswoman said that selective optimization of the insulation was also planned.
The same applies to the roof.
The roof skin will be renewed there, and thermal bridges will also be improved in terms of energy.
Kerstin Brehm did not provide any information on the cost volume.
The scaffolding along Ludwigstrasse and Wittelsbacherstrasse is expected to remain in place until mid-October.
Overall, the work should be completed by the end of the year.
Incidentally, the contract was awarded “consistently to local companies”.
Underground parking opens this Saturday
The underground car park of the Kreissparkasse will be back in operation next Saturday, October 1st.
The complete concrete renovation and repair of the floor as well as the energetic optimization of lighting and technical systems are as good as completed.
44 public parking spaces will then be available again, including two barrier-free parking spaces.
Three parking spaces were also equipped with electric charging options.
Due to delivery problems with individual parts, they could probably not be put into operation until mid-November, Brehm explained.
The renovation of the employee garage is still ongoing.
