The Director of Dar Al-Assad Authority for Culture and Arts, Maestro Andre Maalouli, discussed with the President of the Iranian Association of Culture and Islamic Relations, Dr. Muhammad Mahdi Imanipour, the exchange of cultural experiences between the two friendly countries.
Maalouli noted the depth of the friendship between the two countries and the importance of their reflection in the exchange of cultural experiences, and the hosting of Iranian band leaders at the Damascus Opera House concerts.
In turn, Imanipour stressed the necessity of exchanging cultural delegations and enhancing joint cooperation, especially after learning about the Syrian artistic capabilities during the current visit to Syria, which comes within the framework of developing cultural relations between the two countries, and signing the executive program for developing Syrian-Iranian cultural cooperation, coinciding with the launch of the cultural week activities. The Iranian Cultural Counselor in Damascus, Dr. Hamid Reza Esmati, participated in the talks, the Director of the Directorate of Theaters and Music Imad Jalloul, the Dean of the Higher Institute of Music, Maestro Adnan Fathallah, and the Director of Cultural Relations at the Ministry of Culture Ziad Maiman.
