Here are the main steps and dates to remember if you have to enroll in higher education next year!
The Parcoursup procedure allows you to centralize all your registration requests, or almost, but you have to follow a schedule to respect!
From December 2023 to September 2023, the Parcoursup calendar will take place in three stages as every year: in the 1st quarter, the information and training discovery phase;
from January 18, 2023, the registration phase on the platform and the formulation/confirmation of wishes;
between June 1 and July 13, 2023, the main admission phase during which high school students receive the answers from the courses and make their choices.
The additional phase will open from mid-June 2023 and will end on September 15, 2023, the date on which all new bachelors and retraining students must have found training.
Convergence with the Bac calendar.
To avoid adding orientation stress to the stress of the Bac exams, the Parcoursup calendar has been harmonized with the calendar of the new bac from the #Bac2021 reform.
The convergence of the timetables for the new baccalaureate exams and the Parcoursup procedure will allow students to include their first specialty notes in their file for the rest of their studies.

The last month of the year inaugurates the orientation period, in some high schools orientation weeks are organized.
At the beginning of December, you will be able to fill

Opening of the Parcoursup.fr information site with the training search engine.
The first step corresponds to your information on training offers.
During the Christmas holidays (December 17 to January 2 inclusive) students will be able to find essential information there on undergraduate courses: licenses, BTS, DUT, preparatory classes, engineering schools, nursing schools, etc.
2/Registration and entry of wishes from January 18 to April 6

until March 8, 2023
to make, without order of preference, ten requests (wishes).
Throughout the 2nd term you will be able to continue your orientation reflection with your teachers and with the 2nd week of orientation which will be organized in your high school as well as the various student fairs and open days of schools, professional high schools, universities...
In March.
Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 March 2023: specialty written tests.
The second class council will take place: each wish is the subject of a "future sheet" including the assessments of the teachers and the opinion of the establishment.
Wednesday, March 8 (midnight)

Last day to make your wishes.
Up to 10 wishes (with possibility of sub-wishes depending on the training) And 10 more wishes for apprenticeship training.
(You will have until April 6 to confirm these wishes).

Thursday, April 6 (midnight).
Last day to finalize your candidate file with the elements requested by the training (cover letter etc.) and confirm your previously formulated wishes.
3/ From June 1: receipt of responses
From June 1 (7 p.m.) to July 13, 2023

Finally the first results to your registration requests!
You will be able to receive the answers of the training courses every day and decide your final choice.
The answers come gradually and continuously (according to the decisions of the schools/universities and the evolution of the waiting lists).
You will have to respond to them within a few days (deadlines specified on the platform) - alerts available via the Parcoursup mobile app.
On Thursday, June 1, the site will initially be in "consultation" mode, then during the evening, the candidates will be able to start responding to the proposals made to them (to avoid overloading the servers).

From mid-June to mid-September
: the additional procedure is open.
During this period, baccalaureate holders who have only been refused will be able to try their luck again and be supported by the higher education access commission of their academy.
Personalized or collective appointment with the teams of the rectorate and your high school if you have only received negative answers (from selective training courses such as BTS, IUT, etc.)
Tuesday July 4
: Bac 2023 results!
After the results of the baccalaureate, and if you have definitively accepted a course, you must register administratively with the targeted establishment.
Thursday July 13.
You will have to confirm your registration in the chosen course according to the procedures specified by the host institution.
End of the main phase of Parcoursup.
Last day to accept an admission proposal received during this phase.
