The Russian Soyuz MS21 spacecraft separated from the International Space Station today and headed towards Earth, carrying a batch of station astronauts on board.
The Russia Today website quoted the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, as saying that the spacecraft carried the Russian cosmonauts to Earth, and when it reaches Earth's atmosphere today, it is supposed to operate the braking and landing engines and to land southeast of the city of Jyzkazgan in Kazakhstan.
She added that the vehicle also carried the results of scientific experiments conducted on board the station, including the results of urgent experiments.
The Russian astronauts arrived at the International Space Station on the 18th of last March, and during their stay there, 6 corrections were made to the station's orbit and 5 exits to open space were carried out.
