The Cypriot airline TUS, which in recent months operated direct flights from Israel to the cities of Larnaca, Dusseldorf and Toulouse, will expand its operations in Israel with two additional destinations in Greece.
The company will operate direct flights to Athens and Thessaloniki starting this December with a frequency of three weekly flights to Athens and two weekly flights to Thessaloniki.
The flights will be marketed at a price that will start at $85 one way.
The company is considering opening additional lines to new destinations from Israel soon.
Last month, the Wizz Air airline also announced the addition of direct flights to Athens and now the competition to the Greek capital is expanding, which may lead to further price reductions for one of the Israeli tourist's favorite destinations.

TUS Airways will offer new flights connecting Israel and Greece and will allow passengers to enjoy a quality product at attractive hours and at a competitive price."
