Since the beginning of the week, environmentalists have been wondering about the internal handling of the “Bayou affair”.
At issue: the resignation Monday, September 26 of the former party boss, to everyone's surprise, from his post as national secretary, after an ex-companion accused him of psychological violence.
Targeted by a report to the unit for the fight against sexist and sexual violence of the party – without any complaint having been filed at this time – he then defended himself through his lawyer, explicitly targeting the role of MP Sandrine Rousseau, who reported the accusations on a television set.
Bayou denounced an “untenable situation” and a lack of respect for the contradictory, in particular in the investigation carried out by the cell of the movement.
