A former journalist was attacked last night (Thursday) in his home in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem and was slightly to moderately injured. This is a well-known figure in the media world.
The victim was referred for medical treatment and later released to his home.
Apparently the attacker, disturbed in his mind, broke into his house and sat down there.
When the former journalist entered his house, he was amazed to find him there, demanded that he leave and an argument developed between the two, in the end of which he was attacked and injured.
The police opened an investigation and according to the suspicion the background is a criminal act and there is no connection between the attack and his journalistic past.

MDA reported that "MDA medics and paramedics are providing medical treatment and referring a 78-year-old man in mild to moderate condition, with bruises, to Shaare Zedek Hospital."
