The coffin of the Israeli Miki (Moshe Jonathan) Lipman, who died in Uman of cardiac arrest, was retrieved tonight (Friday) from Ukraine and brought to Israel.

This, at the end of a complex operation that included, among other things, a 15-hour trip in an ambulance accompanied by a police car, as well as a flight from Chisinau airport to Israel.

His funeral is expected to take place in Moshav Miron in the afternoon.

"On Tuesday, back from training when Miki was already on the bus on the way to the airport, he said that he 'doesn't feel well' and that 'his hand hurts and there is pressure in his chest,'" his relative told Walla!

Yair Kosher.

"After a few minutes he lost consciousness. There was a paramedic on the bus and the people of the Rescue Union arrived quickly and they tried to revive him for 45 minutes. The pulse returned but after two minutes unfortunately he lost consciousness again and he died."

Miki was born in Israel to an Israeli mother and a father from South Africa and as a child the family moved to the city of Perth in Australia.

They visited Israel regularly and Miki remained with a strong attachment to the country.

He returned to Israel as a lone soldier and enlisted in the Nahal. He continued to serve in the reserves until after the age of forty and even served in the order of eight at Tzuk Eitan. "He was poisoned by the army," his family members say. For years he worked in the elite youth village "Yimin Ored" and it is said that he was a respected teacher there. A few years ago he repented following his cousins and moved to live in Meron.

"I'm only now discovering what a dedicated teacher he was from the messages his students send me that bring me to tears," said his mother Ofra.

"My pain is so strong, it is in my heart all the time and will remain in my heart. He was a devoted and loving son and makes sure that there are not many like him. He was a patriot and had a dream to visit Auschwitz. He had a special feeling for Holocaust survivors. Three years ago we traveled together to Poland, to Warsaw, To the Jewish Museum, he didn't miss a single picture. When we arrived at Auschwitz, he took the Israeli flag and wrapped himself around himself, and so with tears in his eyes, he made the visit. For many years, he wanted to go to Uman and didn't get to go. Also because he couldn't take a job as a teacher, and not always He could afford it. This year he decided that he had to travel and I blessed him and thank God that he traveled. I was in Miron during the holiday and I slept in his room, in his bed. We were going to go back for his birthday and here it happened. I say that he had to travel. I believe that if it had to happen It would happen anywhere. It's fate.

He would always tell me about everything that everything is from heaven.

He fulfilled the dream and died.

The followers said that he died righteous with a clean heart.

Cleaned everything.

He was honest, decent, someone who helps others, simply a man who made his amends and apparently God wanted such a man by his side."

"The country and the flag accompanied him throughout his life"

Gadi Hillman, the 45-year-old cousin of Yehud, said that Miki will be remembered as the "Salt of the Land", a man who cared for the good of the people, the land and the flag accompanied him throughout his life, no matter where he was.

"It was not for nothing that he chose to go up and serve as a fighter," he emphasized.

"It was his Jewish roots that led him to Israel or to march with a flag in the extermination camps. The Jewish heritage and love for the people also led him to be an artist, and as much as it hurts to say, I think he left after he had really done everything for him, earned himself and fulfilled the mitzvot he wanted to fulfill for many years."

His aunt Mali Hillman said that the family received the terrible message on Tuesday from Nachman, the head of Zaka Bowman. "He immediately took personal responsibility for him there and the Zaka people kept him from going to the hospital to avoid an unnecessary autopsy," she said.

It's good that he had passport travelers insurance and it's good that there is 'Menochah for Ever' led by Eitan Karib who know how to manage such an operation and that we have our foreign ministry to help with the difficult procedures.

We thank them and the members of the Kadisha Society in Uman and here and the Rescue Union and everyone who mobilized for the great efforts that resulted in the fact that Maouman finally set off today and we hope that we will be able to return him before Shabbat to the place he chose as his home, to Meron."
