Emmering – On Wednesday, September 28, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., a 91-year-old Emmeringer was outwitted with a trick and relieved by a total of 390 euros.

The injured person was walking in the area of the main street in Emmering.

Between Sparkasse and ice cream parlor, he was first greeted by a man around 40 years old and shortly afterwards asked if he could change two euros.

Due to the friendly demeanor, the pensioner agreed to the barter transaction, took out his wallet and changed the money for the unknown person.

It was only in the evening that the injured party noticed that it wasn't just the exchange business, but that the perpetrator also stole 390 euros from the purse.

The police are asking for witnesses to this.

Who was able to observe the situation and can describe the perpetrator (about 40 years old, male) in more detail?
