Fire in the living room: Woman (87) catches fire and is critically injured

An 87-year-old woman was critically injured in a room fire in Moosburg on Friday afternoon: she was taken to the hospital with severe burns.

– A fire broke out around 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon in a single-family house on Steinbockstrasse in Moosburg.

When the fire brigade, rescue service and police arrived, the emergency services found an elderly woman who had suffered severe burns in the living room.

The police were not yet able to provide any precise information on the course of the accident.

Presumably, according to PI Moosburg when asked by FT, "the woman caught fire while stoking an old stove in the living room".

The pensioner was taken to the hospital with severe burns and is in mortal danger.

The criminal police in Erding are currently investigating.
