Geretsried: 18-year-old man steals cigarettes right in front of a cashier

Geretsried - a drunk young man from Geretsried stole things worth 200 euros from a shop on Bayerwaldstraße.

Even the police are surprised: On Thursday, September 28, around 6 p.m., an 18-year-old from Geretsried stole tobacco products and a sweater with a total value of around 200 euros from a consumer market on Bayerwaldstraße in Geretsried.

But according to the police, the young man was not particularly skilful: he simply put the stolen sweater on while he was still in the shop.

And he stole the cigarettes from the stand right next to the checkout area and stuffed them in his backpack.

However, the 18-year-old was observed by two saleswomen.

When he left the market, he was stopped by them.

The called patrol of the Geretsried police was able to determine that the young Geretsrieder had a breath alcohol concentration of over one per mille.

He is now facing charges of shoplifting.
