Gunmen opened fire on Friday and threw Molotov cocktails at a police station in Iran's southeastern Sistan-Balochistan province, state television reported.

Several police officers as well as bystanders were injured in the exchange of fire
” in the provincial capital Zahedan, she added.
The province of Sistan-Baluchistan is a deprived region bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan and frequent scene of attacks or clashes between law enforcement and armed groups.
