If you ask nutritionists what form of losing weight they recommend, they are certainly not crash diets.

Even during the phases in which you want to lose body weight, it should be ensured that the body is supplied with the necessary nutrients.

Intermittent fasting, for example, is a form that medical professionals advocate because it has been shown to be good for the body and can alleviate chronic bowel diseases.

Fasting triggers biochemical changes in the body that have a positive effect on sugar and fat metabolism.

Although you should avoid eating when you are not eating, you can also choose something other than just water when it comes to drinks – warm lemon water or ginger-lemon water boosts fat burning.

Lose weight: Carrots keep you full for a long time

If you are not a fan of lemons but like ginger, you can combine it with carrots.

Because carrots are not only rich in iron, potassium, calcium and vitamins, they also contain the fiber pectin, which swells in the gastrointestinal tract and thus activates the feeling of satiety.

Pectin also inhibits fat digestion and ensures increased fat breakdown.

This improves the intestinal flora and has a detoxifying effect.

Carrots are therefore very good for losing weight, also because they only contain about 26 kilocalories per hundred grams.

But beware: make sure to store carrots properly to make them last longer.

This power tuber improves your digestion and thus also helps with detoxification.

Get slim and fit quickly: Eight healthy sugar alternatives

Very few people know it, but vegans have valued it for a long time: rice syrup.

At first glance, it has the same consistency and color as honey, but it is more transparent.

Nevertheless, you can spice up your breakfast with rice syrup.

Although it is a little less sweet than table sugar, it has a slightly caramel-like taste.

It also contains many minerals such as magnesium, iron or calcium and, thanks to its multiple sugars, keeps sugar emissions low.

Coconut blossom sugar, also known as coconut or palm sugar, is already a star in the vegan and paleo communities thanks to its low glycemic index.

It is therefore particularly recommended for people with diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease.

The coconut sugar is made from the nectar of the coconut palm and is also rich in various minerals.

Nevertheless, it does not taste like coconut, but also has a caramel note.

You can use it 1:1 like brown sugar.

Anyone who has ever been to the USA or Canada knows it mostly on pancakes for breakfast: maple syrup.

As a healthy alternative, it is very popular with vegans.

It is obtained from Canadian maple trees and boiled down as juice.

It is considered a natural sweetener and is available in different quality grades (AA, A, B, C, D).

Maple syrup is also valued for its many minerals and trace elements.

In addition, substances contained in it should have an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect.

Birch sugar in bowls and spoonsIn addition to xylitol, erythritol is one of the sugar alcohols and is used as a sugar substitute.

It also looks like household sugar and tastes sweet.

It occurs naturally in cheese, corn or fruit and is obtained through fermentation.

Erythritol also contains hardly any calories and does not affect blood sugar or insulin levels.

Therefore, it is recommended for diabetics or overweight.

However, it does not sweeten as much as xylitol or normal table sugar.

Healthy breakfast, granola bowl with fruitAgave syrup is a sweetener extracted from the agave plant.

The same applies here as with concentrated apple juice: you should consume the product in moderation because it mainly consists of fructose.

However, agave syrup has fewer calories than sugar, making it a better diet companion.

Buying agave syrup is also rather harmful for the environment, also because of the long transport routes.

You don't want to do without agave syrup?

In this case, it is best to use an organic product.
