According to the instructions, the victim deposited about 50,000 yuan into the 3 accounts designated by the other party for shopping on the platform.
However, the victim lost contact with the swindler afterward. Suspected of being deceived, he reported to the police.
After preliminary investigation, the case was classified as "obtaining property by deception", and the case was handed over to the 3rd Team of the Kowloon City Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. No arrests have been made so far.

The police pointed out that scammers’ job advertisements generally claim “quick money,” “high labor,” “same-day pay,” or “work from home”; they have low requirements for applicants’ age and education, or no work experience or resume; And the actual position or work content, and only provide instant messaging software or mobile phone number contact method.
Some scammers will even give out commissions after the victim's initial deposit to gain the victim's trust.
